New broke earlier this week that WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose has informed WWE of his intentions of leaving the company once his current contract expires. WWE confirmed the report later that same day when they issued a statement on the matter.
It was later reported that Ambrose had turned down a multi-year contract that was said to be worth seven figures per year, and that he was unhappy with the way his character has been handled over the past few years. Ambrose’s current deal with WWE is said to expire in April sometime after WrestleMania 35.
WWE Superstar John Cena commented on the news of Dean Ambrose plans to leave the company after WrestleMania. He took to his instagram account and posted a photo of somebody named John Moxley’s yearbook picture.
