Kip Sabian has been a fixture on AEW Dynamite, especially as the company built up to his wedding this past Wednesday at Beach Break. One thing he’s avoided doing unlike his wife Penelope Ford and his best man Miro is wrestling. Now we know why.
Fightful Select has reported Sabian is currently on the sidelines with an injury. He was injured sometime in December, but the company continued to use him in non-wrestling roles to help continue the build toward his wedding with Penelope.
He’s been sidelined from active competition with an injury. Sabian hasn’t wrestled since early December, but has been figured into the television program and storyline plans with the Best Friends feud.
It was probably not noticed, considering Sabian was a constant presence on television, helping advance the feud with Best Friends and the fact he was still very much on television.
This is just another unfortunate wrench in the plans AEW had for Best Friends along with Sabian and Miro. Trent suffered an injury that wound up having to have him written off of television. Now that the wedding has happened, it’s unsure if Sabian will take time off to heal up or how they’ll play it, but we shall see.
