Tessa Blanchard was Knockout of the Year in 2018 and was seemingly unstoppable since her arrival in IMPACT in 2017. Tessa captured the Knockouts Championship and hasn’t stopped since. Enter Taya Valkyrie who came into IMPACT Wrestling as Lucha Royalty. However, Taya wanted to be more true to her roots and Wera Loca came out and so did the confidence of Taya.
They have met twice and regardless of how, Tessa has left as Knockouts Champion. Controversy has surrounded Tessa Blanchard her entire career and many are saying she needs a decisive victory on Sunday to cement her legacy.
Gail Kim will serve as the special guest ref and will make sure this is as clean a match as possible!
