The masked Ligero is as close as you’ll come to seeing a luchador from Leeds, England. Originally told he was too small to be a wrestler, Ligero began learning the ropes as a teenager and has since turned into one of the U.K.’s most well-traveled competitors. Making his debut in 2002, the masked competitor found inspiration in Mexican lucha libre early in his career, a foundation he now complements with a more classical British technique (as well as some seriously hard strikes). Having wrestled hundreds of matches in each of the last several years alone, Ligero will look to rely on his considerable ring experience as he vies for a WWE U.K. Championship opportunity.
