Words like “legend” and phrases like “career reflection” have not sat well with 5x Knockouts Champion, Madison Rayne, since she came back to IMPACT recently. While away from IMPACT, Madison has been competing all over the United States for various promotions and has enjoyed her time checking out the independent circuit.
Madison Rayne came back to IMPACT to announce the matches of the Knockouts, host shows and work on various projects for the company (the upcoming Knockouts: Back to Basics was the idea of Madison Rayne), however her career path took a left turn and it continues on Thursday night.
“I guess my fans can thank Tessa (Blanchard) for my return to the ring, I just don’t like bullies. I don’t like people who feel entitled and at the end of the day I couldn’t sit back and watch Tessa be a bully.”
“So Tessa and I had a match at Under Pressure, somehow I was considered the underdog in that match and I beat Tessa. She is good, very very good, but I caught her off guard and I think I can beat her again if we have the opportunity.”
Tessa rebounded quickly and went on to defeat Kiera Hogan in a No Disqualifications match on IMPACT this past Thursday night.
That match is official and we will see Thursday night if the cinderella story of Madison Rayne’s return will continue. It is a battle of the Queen Bee vs. Lucha Royalty in a match we can’t wait to see.
There are so many questions right now in the Knockouts Division with Slammiversary right around the corner. Who will be challenging Su Yung for the Knockouts Title on the biggest night of the summer?
Who will win Thursday night between Madison Rayne and Taya Valkyrie.
