Laat night at AEW All Out, Matt Hardy faced off against Sammy Guevara in a ‘Broken Rules’ match.
During the match there was one particular spit where Sammy speared Hardy off the top of some scaffolding backstage and through a table. Of course with a spot like this there is always an element of uncertainty, and unfortunately the move didn’t quite go to plan.
The pair overshot the table by roughly one foot, which resulted in Matt hitting the back of his head on the concrete floor and causing himself a concussion. The match was initially stopped before being allowed to continue.
Matt’s wife Reby has always been known as somebody who doesn’t mince their words and she was understandably quick to voice her concern and anger at the botched spot. She took to Twitter and launched into a profanity laden rant:
Reby has since locked her twitter account so that her tweet’s cannot be shared. But here is a screen shot of the texts she had sent Matt last night during the match, which she tweeted in the above tweets.
AEW’s President Tony Khan has since come out in defence of the decision, everyone involved and the medical team. The decision was not well received on social media.
