Max The Impaler has been an intimidating presence looming over Women’s Division Wednesday since the YouTube series’ inception two months ago.
On this week’s episode, Max destroyed the debuting Allie Recks and finally received a ticket to gold for the ROH Women’s World Title Tournament this summer.
Amy Rose, who identified herself as Max’s business representative, accepted the invitation from ROH Board of Directors member Maria Kanellis-Bennett on Max’s behalf via Zoom.
When Kanellis-Bennett asked Max for a comment about being in the tournament, the terrifying powerhouse let out a guttural growl that sent Kanellis-Bennett scurrying.
Max, who defeated Hyan last month and laid out four competitors (as well as the timekeeper) in a post-match attack two weeks ago, wasn’t originally scheduled for a match this week.
However, after Angelina Love defeated Recks in a highly competitive match, Recks asked Love for another opportunity to prove herself. Love said she’d give Recks another chance, but not against her.
That’s when Max and Rose showed up. In the impromptu match, Max disposed of Recks in less than four minutes.
