New Japan Pro Wrestling Doing Well In Spite Of Pandemic

Japan Has had a rough time like the rest of the world during the last year dealing with the covid 19 pandemic and attendance for their live shows has been very limited, but it’s looking like New Japan has done well in spite of the pandemic.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and EvanDeadlySinsW put together data on NJPW business that reports the company had a net income “of about $60,000” from August 2020 to June 2021. The revenue is less clear, but the Bushiroad sports division, which consists of NJPW and STARDOM, reported a revenue of about $40 million

Brandon Thurston is also reporting that NJPW reported 116,000 subscribers for NJPW World as of January 2021.
