Pentagon Jr. vs. Homicide headlines IMPACT this Thursday night. King is always thinking three steps ahead. The leader of the OGz is obsessed with getting to Konnan. However, King knows he has to listen to the orders from the Bosses and King can’t touch Konnan, Santana or Ortiz. So the man from New York City found a different approach and went after Fenix and Pentagon Jr. last week on IMPACT. We went off the air with confusion and now it is clear what King is doing.
King knows that Pentagon Jr. and Fenix have a long history with Konnan. It is all connected, Konnan has helped guide the career of the Lucha Bros! and if King can get to them, perhaps he can get to Konnan. What does all this mean now?
Well, Thursday on IMPACT we will get a first ever Main Event as Homicide faces Pentagon Jr. in a match that will tell us a lot about our future on IMPACT Wrestling. How far will King go to provoke Konnan?
LAX will be busy on Thursday night, but they will be paying close attention to the Main Event and what will develop between Pentagon Jr. and Homicide. One thing that remains crystal clear is that Konnan has had a profound affect on the career of so many men, Konnan has guided and helped these men become stars and household names. It is something that drives King crazy.
King thinks that Konnan has used these men. King thinks that Konnan has “hung on to the coattails” of men like Rey Mysterio and Juventud Guerrera for years. In the mind of King, he has been using these Stars and now Konnan is doing the same to Santana and Ortiz. Is there any truth to the beliefs of King?
Or is King upset that Konnan didn’t see the same Star quality in him that Konnan saw in people like Mysterio, Santana and Ortiz? Now King is out for revenge.
What will happen in our Main Event on Thursday is pivotal in our future. Pentagon Jr. vs. Homicide has never happened on IMPACT and when the smoke clears and the dust settles who will be standing tall? What does the future of IMPACT Wrestling look like after Thursday night? We can’t wait to find out.
