Petey Williams Discusses Working With AJ Styles

June 16, 2018

Off the back of a recent episode of Something Else To Wrestle featuring footage of AJ Styles in IMPACT Wrestling, Petey Williams discussed working with AJ Styles on his podcast Wrestling Perspective.

Petey Williams on AJ Styles:

“AJ has always been the face of TNA he was their guy, their poster boy. I don’t know how much he got paid and I’m assuming when they bring in Hogan or whomever, they’re getting paid more than AJ. I’m assuming AJ was like “Come on, whatever man”. So yeah he may have became difficult to work with.”

Petey Williams on the two backstage kliqs:

“AJ has a group we called The Triad. It was him, Christopher Daniels Samoa Joe and Frank Kazarian.  They called us The Z Boys.  We even had track suits made with the Z boys logo on it. The group was me, Sonjay, Shelley, Sabin and Lethal.  It was like the Jets versus Sharks in a playful way.”
