Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Danhausen vs. Rhett Titus
(20-minute time limit)
Titus out-wrestled Danhausen in the early stages of the match and seemed to be toying with him. Titus hit a clothesline and followed with three consecutive neckbreakers to score a two count. Danhausen surprised Titus with an inside cradle for a two count. Danhausen connected on a pump kick and followed with a codebreaker for another two count. Staying on the offensive, Danhausen hit a snap German suplex. With a reeling Titus on his knees, Danhausen landed a running kick and running forearm for a near fall.
Titus hit a belly to belly suplex to regain the advantage. A dropkick by Titus sent Danhausen into the corner. Titus followed with two running boots to the face. Titus applied a spinning full nelson and transitioned into a camel clutch/full nelson combination. Danhausen tapped out.
The Survival of the Fittest six-way elimination final for a shot at the ROH World Title is now set, as Titus joined previous qualifiers Bandido, Chris Dickinson, Demonic Flamita, Eli Isom and Brian Johnson. The match takes place on this weekend’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling.
