Shinsuke Nakamura has taken the recent king storyline and ran with it. He has ridden the gimmick all the way to the Intercontinental Title . Despite fans calling for the superstar to head back to New Japan or AEW Shinsuke is so comfortable in the WWE that he has signed a contract extension.
During the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Andrew Zarian confirmed that Shinsuke had signed a contract extension with WWE. It is not known how long the extension is for, but Shinsuke is sticking around.
“Nakamura did {sign contract extension}, but Nakamura is happy.”
Zarian also noted that guys like Shinsuke have scratched and clawed to get where they are in their entire career to get to the point where he is today.
