January 21 – In 2003, infamous Survivor contestant Johnny Fairplay made his debut at NWA-TNA PPV #78 as he had a painful run in with AJ Styles.
In 2005, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels battled for the first time in IMPACT history as they competed in a 10 minute challenge on IMPACT.
In 2006, AJ Styles took on “The Prince of Punk” Shannon Moore on IMPACT.
January 22 – Generations collided in 2003 as AJ Styles faced “The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko on NWA-TNA PPV #29.
January 23 – Sting competed in IMPACT for the last time as he lost a Title vs. Career match against Magnus at Genesis in 2014 – Kurt Angle also faced Bobby Roode inside the steel cage.
January 25 – Genesis took place in 2018 as Eli Drake retained the IMPACT World Championship in a Six Sides of Steel main event. Matt Sydal captured the IMPACT Grand Championship against EC3 while Lashley sent Dan Lambert packing from IMPACT Wrestling for good.
January 26 – Lashley defeated Eddie Edwards in an incredible 30 Minute Iron Man match to win the IMPACT World Championship while Rosemary retained the Knockouts Championship against Jade in Monster’s Ball.
