Austin Aries calls himself many things, “the Greatest Man That Ever Lived” is a bold statement to make, but Aries stands by it when questioned. “The Belt Collector” seems to ring true considering how many titles Aries has captured as of late. “The Truth” is one that Aries also stands by, claiming that he only, ever, speaks the truth and his words may in fact be harsh, but they are not hollow.
Austin Aries has said some critical things about his Slammiversary opponent, Moose, over the past several weeks.
Austin Aries certainly has a lot on his mind, Austin Aries worked very hard to become World Champion in 2018. What will happen on July 22nd in Toronto is unknown at this point, we will not know who leaves as World Champion until the end of Slammiversary. There is one thing we know with absolutely certainty. Austin Aries will be ready to defend his title. Aries has seen and experienced the big stage of wrestling throughout his career.
