Across the 16 and a half year history of IMPACT Wrestling there have been countless memorable matches and moments. Every week here on IMPACTWrestling.com we’ll take you on a trip down memory lane to revisit some of the anniversaries of them.
November 12 – Lex Luger made his IMPACT debut as he teamed with Jeff Jarrett to face AJ Styles and Sting on NWA-TNA PPV #70.
November 13th – Turning Point 2011 happened on this day as Robbie E defeated Eric Young for the Television Championship and Gail Kim captured the Knockouts Championship from Velvet Sky. In the main event Bobby Roode retained the IMPACT World Championship against AJ Styles. Genesis 2005 also took place with AJ Styles retaining the X-Division Championship against Petey Williams plus Team 3D and Rhino defeated AMW and Jeff Jarrett in the main event.
November 15th – Turning Point took place in 2009 with an incredible double main event. Kurt Angle bested the insurgent Desmond Wolfe in an amazing technical contest while AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe renewed their all time great rivalry for the IMPACT World Championship in a triple threat main event.
November 16th – Eli Drake successfully retained the IMPACT World Championship as he overcame Petey Williams in Ottawa, ON on IMPACT in 2017.
November 19th – A match billed as “The Dream Match of the Decade” took place at Genesis 2006 and it did not disappoint as Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe faced off for the first time. Abyss also defeated Sting to win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
