Across the 16 and a half year history of IMPACT Wrestling there have been countless memorable matches and moments. Every week here on IMPACTWrestling.com we’ll take you on a trip down memory lane to revisit some of the anniversaries of them.
November 5th – Bound For Glory took place on this date in 2017 from the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Gail Kim captured the Knockouts Championship for the seventh time before retiring soon after. Eli Drake, oVe and Trevor Lee all retained the IMPACT World, Tag Team and X-Division Championships respectively. The Octagon also invaded the hexagon as Lashley and King Mo defeated Moose and Stephan Bonnar. In 2003 on NWA-TNA #69 Sting returned to IMPACT to face off with Jeff Jarrett.
November 6th – On the NWA-TNA #20 PPV, Jerry Lynn defeated AJ Styles to capture the X-Division Championship for the second time in his career, plus Curt Hennig battled Jeff Jarrett.
November 7th – Turning Point 2010 took place as Robbie E captured the X-Division Championship from Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machine Guns bested Team 3D in a match that forced Team 3D to disband. Jeff Hardy retained the IMPACT World Championship over Matt Morgan in the main event.
November 9th – Turning Point 2008 took place as Sting defeated AJ Styles to retain the IMPACT World Championship. Kurt Angle battled Abyss in a wold Falls Count Anywhere match while Booker T bested Christian Cage in Christian’s last IMPACT match. In 2017, Eddie Edwards successfully retained Pro Wrestling NOAH’s GHC Heavyweight Championship against El Hijo Del Fantasma on IMPACT.
November 10th – Eddie Edwards successfully defended the IMPACT World Championship against the challenge of Eli Drake on IMPACT.
November 11th – Two major events took place in IMPACT history – Genesis 2007 featured the debut of Booker T plus the incredible Kazarian vs. Christian Cage ladder match. Turning Point 2012 meanwhile featured another jaw dropping ladder match – this time featuring Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy.
