Vince McMahon is almost always in attendance at WWE tapings. The Chairman oversees the shows and makes sure everything gets his final approval before it goes on air, so it’s news when Vince McMahon is absent from a show and McMahon was not present last night.
Ringside News first reported that McMahon was absent from the tapings and the show was run by Bruce Prichard. Ed Koskey and Ryan Callahan ran the creative end while Kevin Dunn handled the production side. McMahon still made final decisions though, as it was said he was on the phone and “everything flowed through Vince” all day.
Vince has missed shows recently as well, and Triple H has taken charge in those instances, but he was not in attendance last night either. Where or why Vince was not in attendance isn’t known at this time.
