This morning the Wrestling world learned of the unfortunate passing of Former WCW and TNA wrestler Daffney Unger. Last night Daffney posted a video on social media that left fans as well as peers worried for her well-being. This morning it was announced by TMZ that Daffney had passed away.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PW Insider, WWE superstars were texted the following which offered assistance in case anyone is dealing with hard times right now.
As a reminder to our Talent, if you are dealing with a difficult personal matter and would like to speak with someone to get the support you need, please don’t hesitate to contact [Counseling Company Name Withheld] at [NUMBER DELETED] or WWE Medical.”
Many in the wrestling world have reacted to Ungers death.She was 46 at the time of her passing.
I’ve always felt that people with the biggest hearts are often the ones that feel the most pain. Finding out about Daffney seems to prove that.
