- The show opens with Roman Reigns in the ring to address the fans. He begins talking about Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman before the pair interrupt him. Lesnar proposes a title v. title match.
- Rick Boogs defeats Sami Zayn by pinfall (roll-up).
- Post-match Johnny Knoxville sneaks up on Zayn as he is distracted and yelling at Boogs and Nakamura. Knoxville dumps Zayn over the top rope and it is announced that the Jackass star has qualified for the Royal Rumble.
- Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring and talks about New Year’s plans. A video package plays announcing participants for the Women’s Royal Rumble which include WWE Hall of Famer Lita and Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James. Charlotte then announces herself as a participant and that she will choose he challenger if she is to win. She is then cut off by Naomi and the two exchange words before their match.
- WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship Contender’s match: Charlotte Flair defeats Naomi by pinfall (Natural Selection).
- Happy Baron Corbin and Madcap Moss are in the ring for an edition of Happy Talk, where Moss is portraying an injured Drew McIntyre. The two riff back and forth about various Scottish tropes before they are interrupted by The Viking Raiders.
- Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss defeat The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) by pinfall (The Punchline).
- WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Street Fight: The Usos defeat New Day by pinfall (3D through table).
