Synopsis:
In 1993, UFOs appear over every major city in the world. They remain floating in the sky; silent, motionless, unidentified. 29 years later. There is a rumor that some among us are aliens.

The section seeks to champion eccentric independent cinema, from micro-budget genre experiments whose aesthetics and sensibilities provoke or defy mainstream conventions to inspired obscurities deserving of a larger cult audience. Here you’ll find the strangest of the strange, often realized with next-to-nil resources but major ambition and gonzo personality. Like BBQ “burnt ends”, these films may not be to a general audience’s taste, but those who have acclimated to their delicacy know that they are, in fact, the best.
