Stokely: âWhat about next week on Dynamite, you put that TNT Championship on the line against Willow Nightingale!â
Willow: âNo, no, thatâs not what we were saying Stokely. Brody, I saw you beating up on Adam. Julia, you tried to get me with the mist, but not this time. So Dynamite next week, what do you say we team up Adam?â
Copeland: âIâve got an idea. Before Dynasty, before the three of us, the Rated Chicken Hawks, I just made that up, before we take out the House of Black, Willow, what do you say, me and you against Julia and Brody, next week on Dynamite?â
Willow: âYeah!â
The Young BucksâNicholas & Matthew Jacksonâwere in their dressing room to present backstage footage from ALL IN: London 2023!
Matthew told Nicholas to set it up with a little context.
Nicholas said AEW has a massive pay-per-view coming up on April 21st, AEW Dynasty. Taking place at Dynasty will be the finals of the tag team tournament, featuring FTR against the Young Bucks. Nicholas said the last time they wrestled FTR was at All In, and he still has some wounds that havenât healed.
Matthew said right before the match there was an incident backstage involving two individuals, âthe first being the scapegoat in this entire situation, Jack Perry.â Nicholas interrupted Matthew and said the other individual âtried to make this entire show about himself. As a matter of fact, this individual happens to be good friends with FTR. Which got me thinking maybe FTR were the masterminds behind this entire thing.â Matthew said the incident threw them off their game and FTRâs win should come with an asterisk in the history books.
Nicholas said at Dynasty they werenât shaking hands with FTR and called them pricks. âBe ready,â said Nicholas.
FTRâCash Wheeler and Dax Harwoodâcame out to the ring!
Cash: âWhy are we showing this? What are you two hoping to accomplish other than having a built-in excuse as to why you lost at Wembley. I am sick and tired of hearing about this and talking about this. Everybody back there, us, we are ready to move on and put this in the past. But instead, weâre showing videos from eight months ago because the Bucks canât let go that they lost to FTR. At Dynasty, we have to beat you. Itâs not for legacy or history, itâs because Iâm sick of you!â
Dax: âSo thatâs our bosses. Every interview they have they let us all know that without them, hundreds of people would be out of a job and without them AEW probably wouldnât exist. The scary thing is I donât necessarily disagree with them. Without the Young Bucks I might still be shaving Cashâs back.
âBut because of the Young Bucks, we have something that makes them sick. We have eclipsed them as the absolute best tag team on this planet. And at one time the Bucks cared about AEW, but somewhere along the way, whether it was greed or jealously, you guys lost that. And now three other letters have taken over. The only thing you care about is whatâs best for the EVPs. So, if it takes my last breath, on our backs, we will continue to build this place. We are building it for the future of all professional wrestlers. We are building this for every person who spends their hard earned money on one ticket to get lost in our drama and our action. We are doing this for you.
âAnd if the Young Bucks donât want to be part of that AEW, grab your ball, go home, we got this. This ainât about Wembley. This is about AEW, a company I love, an industry I love. But more importantly this is about the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Two teams walk in, one team walks out as the first ever three time AEW World Tag Team Champions. Young Bucks, you may have built this foundation, but we will put the roof on top of this house, just to blow it right off. Top guys out!â
Renee Paquette interview âThe Aerial Assassinâ Will Ospreay!
Ospreay: âIâve been thinking about this all week. Thereâs this rumor going around that Iâm afraid of the grind. Iâll be honest with you, I have no idea where this conversation has come from. I travel every single week from the US to the UK and back and Iâm delivering some of the best professional wrestling matches this world has ever seen. And normally I wouldnât take the bait, but since the guy who said it is only in the position heâs in because he was grinding on the bossâs daughter, you are in no position to tell me what the grind is all about because you have no idea what I fight for. So let this be a painful little jab back that you do not throw stones at an assassin with a machine gun.
âNow Bryan, you said Iâm stronger and faster than you, which I am. And you said the only way you have a chance at beating me is if you can ground me, but healthier and younger and better men than you have tried and failed. But Bryan Danielson, you are a living legend in this game, and I cannot say I am the best wrestler in the world until I pin you at Dynasty. This is AEW where the best wrestle! Itâs my time, Mr. Danielson, to show every single person what Iâm about and why Iâm the ace of AEW! Bryan Danielson, you find out Sunday, April 21st, why my name is Will Ospreay, and I am on another level!â

Purrazzo: âToni, I love you too. I love that you have your head so far up your own ass youâre going to lose the one thing that started this to begin with. I love that you have forgotten the most important detail about me. I am the best friend and the worst enemy!â

Willow said they needed to get on the same page, because tomorrowâs match pitting Willow and Kris against Julia Hart and Skye Blue is not about friendship, it is REVOLUTION. âSo, Julie and Skye, Stat and I are going to kick your ass!â
In the ring, Tony Schiavone interviewed Wardlow ahead of the All-Star 8-Man Scramble at REVOLUTION tomorrow!
Wardlow: âLooks like I finally got someoneâs attention around here. Two years ago, I won the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. One year ago, I choked out your king. This year finally I get my shot at the World championship after I beat all the other âall starsâ in the match. But whoâs it going to be? Wardlow against âHangmanâ Adam Page? Doesnât matter, Iâll slap his moustache off.Â
âMaybe itâll be Wardlow versus Swerve. Iâm going to kick the front door of Swerveâs house down. So, swerve back into your own lane and dance your ass to the back of the line. Or is it going to be Wardlow versus Samoa Joe? I am so sick of hearing you people chant âJoe! Joe! Joe!â You know what? I hope it is you Joe, because everybody knows youâre in my spot! And this time I am going to finish the job. Not only am I going to take my spot, my title, I am going to beat you so bad that youâll be forced to put on a headset and sit at that announce table where you belong.Â
âTomorrow night I remind everyone that I am still the face of the revolution. I am the uncrowned king. Because this is no longer wrestling. This is war!â
Chris Jerichoâs music began to play! Jericho stepped onto the ramp!
Jericho: âWhat exactly is it that youâre talking about? You mention Swerve, Hangman, and Samoa Joe, but youâre not fighting them tomorrow at Revolution. Youâre in the All-Star Scramble, and I donât know if you know me, Iâm Chris Jericho. Iâm not an âAll-Starâ. Iâm one of the greatest to ever do this.Â
âAnd if you think youâre just going to pass over me and six of the greatest performers in AEW and worldwide, Iâm going to give you some information. I am Chris Jericho. They call me âThe Ochoâ because I am 8-time World champion, and more importantly, I am the first AEW World champion. So, the way that I see it, thatâs Jericho 8, Wardlow 0, because you ainât won sât!
âSo, before you disrespect me and say youâre going straight to the front of the line, I want to remind you that itâs been four years since I lost that title to Jon Moxley in one of the greatest matches in AEW. So tomorrow at Revolution, this isnât just another match for me, itâs a chance for me to get back to being AEW World champion, because I know Iâm good enough. Are you? Because youâre complaining so much about being overlooked and pushed aside. Did you ever think the reason people stopped chanting your name is because you just werenât as good as you think you are, Mike.â
Wardlow: âYou know what Chris? Youâre absolutely right. Because I was this close to the top of the mountain. I could damn near reach it, and after Double or Nothing I show up to work just to take a step backwards. And then the next week, a step down from the mountain. And then a step backwards, and then a step down, and then a step backwards, and then a step down. And yeah Chris, it pissed me off, to the point that I let it eat me away. To the point where I let it ruin my personal life. I lost me.Â
âBut after sitting at home for three months with no explanation and no phone call, I slowly started to remember who I am. And I did what I have done so many times in my life. I picked myself up off the floor, put myself back together, and come back here to remind everyone who I am. I am the biggest, baddest SOB to step foot in a wrestling ring. I donât care how many titles youâve won, and as I said a week ago, I am done eating your scraps. Iâm right here. Come down here because Iâd like to show you who the hell I am!â
Jericho: âIf you want me to come down there, Iâll take the rocket and shove it up your ass in front of all these people!â
Jericho began to approach the ring when Powerhouse Hobbs ambushed Jericho from behind!
Hobbs pummeled Jericho on the ramp. Hobbs looked at Wardlow and taunted him! âOne more day! Remember me!â said Hobbs.
Lexy Nair was backstage with Serena Deeb!
Deeb: âNot only am I undefeated, but Iâm also unstoppable, putting on clinic after clinic here in AEW. Nobody has really challenged me in the ring here. To be honest I donât think the competition that I have faced in the ring would know the difference between a wrist lock and a wristwatch. So, if youâre listening and watching and consider yourself one of the best, step into Deebâs dojo. Step into my home turf and test yourself against the most elite wrestler because Iâll be here each week to show why I am the final boss!â
Private PartyâIsiah Kassidy & Marq QuenÂ
vs.Â

Daniels delivered the Angels Wings on Quen, but Jeff Jarrettâs crew came down to the ring to distract the ref! Jay Lethal blasted Daniels with the Lethal Combination! Lethal grabbed Marq Quen and placed him on top of Daniels. The ref turned around and counted the pin, and Private Party were victorious.
Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal celebrated with Private Party after the match.
âIs this a new allegiance?â wondered Nigel.

As both teams battled in a chaotic scene, Orange tried for a tope suicida to Roderick Strong but Strong blocked it, countering with the End of Heartache on the arena floor! Trent had a sleeper on Killswitch and got Killswitch down to one knee. Killswitch escaped and tossed Trent hard to the mat. Roderick had Orange in the Stronghold outside the ring. Killswitch battered Trent with a headbutt to the chest! Trent retaliated with a thrust kick. Nick Wayne interfered, clubbing Trent from behind, but the ref didnât see it. Killswitch clocked Trent from behind with a clothesline and pinned him!
Killswitch was planning to chokeslam Garcia onto a steel chair, but Matt Menard jumped into the ring. Killswitch cut him off with a headbutt. Killswitch choke slammed Menard onto the steel chair!

Itâs Wednesday night and you know what that means!
Opening the show: âHangmanâ Adam Page had an important announcement ahead of this Sundayâs REVOLUTION pay-per-view!
âHangmanâ Adam Page came to the ring using a crutch.
Adam Page: âLooks doesnât look like a promising start to a speech, does it? When All Elite Wrestling started it was a new endeavor for my friends, but for me it was something different. It was a goal. It was an opportunity to rise to peopleâs expectations, to make the most of the world that was laid in front of me. And Iâd like to think I did that, and Iâd like to think of winning the World championship in 2021 as the biggest accomplishment of my career. Thatâs why it hurts so much to have that opportunity in front of me again and have this crutch.
âWhen AEW decided at REVOLUTION the World championship would be decided in a three-way match, I said it was B.S. and I meant it. And I suggested the World championship should be decided in a singles match, but it looks like I had the wrong two competitors.Â
âSo, Iâm not going to apologize to Swerve or to Samoa Joe, but I will tell you, because I need to tell you the truth because Iâm always honest with you that this Sunday at REVOLUTION I will not be able to compete.â
Swerve Stricklandâs music began to play! Swerve walked onto the ramp with Prince Nana and then made his way to the ring.
Swerve: âThese last six months, man, weâve been to war. I tried to kill you, you tried to kill me. I didnât expect this to happen. I targeted you because of everything youâve accomplished in AEW. And to say I didnât have the utmost respect for you because of that would be a flat out lie. But you suffered this unfortunate fate. And the thing about fate, you canât escape it and you canât stop destiny. And my destiny awaits for me this Sunday as I go on to become the AEW World champion.â
AEW World champion Samoa Joe walked onto the ramp with a microphone!
Samoa Joe: âDestiny? You boys are out here talking about destiny. What do we have here? Two of the most bitter enemies every trying to hug it out. A lot of lies being told out here so allow me to correct them and tell this audience a few truths. Week after week I watched you boys stare daggers into each other thinking that the destiny of this World championship was tearing the other manâs throat out. Thatâs only because you were avoiding making eye contact with me and realizing who the real man around here is.
âSecondly, though I donât quite understand the little dynamic here and whether youâre in or not, âHangman,â or should I call you âHop-along,â I keep hearing about how youâre both young, hungry championship contenders but thatâs ridiculous. You both are battle tested warriors in that ring. And thereâs nothing new about you. No, youâre hungry accomplished wrestlers. But the only reason youâre hungry is because Iâm starving your ass. Let me explain to you who I am and what you really need to be worried about. Iâm Samoa Joe. Iâm the AEW World champion. And whether itâs one of you or both of you come REVOLUTION, Iâm going to whoop both your asses.â
Swerve: âNow you wait a second, Joe, because Iâm going to explain to you who the hell I am! I am someone who has gone from being unemployed to headlining pay-per-views! I went from someone that went from being a cruiserweight to going after the World championship! Iâll do whatever it takes to become World champion! Iâm not only a career maker, but Iâm also a career changer! After I take the championship away from you, youâre not going to know what to do with yourself! You might want to go back to commentary wearing a poncho again. I am on the verge of making history! And this Sunday at REVOLUTION I will become the AEW World champion!â
âHangmanâ Adam Page crack Swerve across the back with his crutch!
âLook at him! Hangmanâs not injured at all!â said Excalibur.
Hangman bashed the crutch into Swerveâs head and Samoa Joe relished every moment from the ramp.Â
âHangman was lying this entire time!â said Excalibur.
âHe wonât be champion! Iâll be champion, damn it!â screamed Hangman Page.
âHangman is saying heâs going to be champion so apparently itâs still a three way match this Sunday at REVOLUTION live on pay-per-view,â said Excalibur.
Hangman stormed to the back, no problem putting weight on his ankle, while a referee and Prince Nana helped Swerve get to his feet.
Footage aired from earlier in the day of EVPs The Young BucksâMatthew and Nicholas Jacksonâarriving to the arena. Renee Paquette was there to interview them and ask about their meeting with âNature Boyâ Ric Flair!
Nicholas Jackson: âThe meeting went great and thatâs all Iâll say about that.â
Matthew Jackson: âRenee, have you seen Sting at all today? Because as this is his final Dynamite appearance, weâre just dying to see him and thank him for all his contributions to this company. And more importantly, we just want to conduct his exit interview.â
The Bucks laughed as they held white baseball bats.
Nicholas Jackson: âSting, where you at? Cameraman, youâre going to want to follow us to see what we do to Sting.â

Moxley and Claudio tied up Dax so Danielson could hit Dax with a diving headbutt. Kingston managed to tag in, and he and Danielson traded chops. Kingston sent Danielson flying with an exploder suplex. Kingston served up an exploder for Claudio. Kingston and Moxley blasted each other with strikes. Danielson booted Kingston. Claudio put Kingston in the Giant Swing and then Danielson dropkicked Eddie! Moxley spiked Kingston with a piledriver! Danielson covered Kingston for the pin, but Dax jumped in the ring to break it up.
The fans chanted âThis is awesome! This is awesome!â

The ref stopped the match and Danielson wouldnât release the hold! The BCC won via ref stoppage!
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to welcome Will Ospreay to AEW!
Ospreay: âGuys, I donât want to take up too much of your time. I just want to thank you for the reception. My obligations are done with New Japan. Iâm here to say Iâm here for full time work, Iâm All Elite! But some of you are forgetting this isnât my first rodeo here. On my first pay-per-view match, I beat Orange Cassidy in the center of this ring. Then I went over to Canada and beat Kenny Omega in front of 13,000 of his own people! And if that werenât good enough, I pinned the first ever AEW World champion Chris Jericho at Wembley Stadium!
âIâve been rolling with the Callis Family, everythingâs been going smoothly, and Iâm ready to pick up where I left off.â
Don Callis came to the ring with Powerhouse Hobbs and Takeshita!
Callis and Hobbs hugged Ospreay. Takeshita glared at Ospreay.Â
Callis: âThereâs nothing I like more than a Don Callis Family reunion. When I think about the talent, I think about Fletcher, Hobbs, Takeshita, and Ospreay, and itâs an embarrassment of riches. I love when you talk about all of those things we accomplished together. We top that by having the match of the decade, with the two best rope to rope wrestlers in the world, Takeshita and Ospreay!Â
âAnd people ask me how I can pit two family members against each other. Itâs like when Michael Jordan and Scotty Pippen would go hard against each other in practice, then theyâd come together and win championships. At the end of the day, it doesnât matter which one of you wins at REVOLUTION, the real winner after this match will be the Don Callis Family. Now shake hands, guys, this is going to be history making.â
Ospreay extended his hand and smiled, and Takeshita pulled Ospreay in. Then Takeshita tried to walk away but Ospreay pulled him. They smirked at each other, ahead of their match this Sunday.

Tonightâs episode of AEW RAMPAGE: New Yearâs Smash was broadcast from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, FL!
Your broadcast team was Excalibur and Tony Schiavone!
Itâs Friday night and you know what that means!
Rampage kicked off with Chris Jericho coming down to the ring!
Jericho: âWe had a huge night on Dynamite last Wednesday when Sammy Guevara quit the Don Callis Family, and of course they had to gang up and attack him. So, I came down to help out Sammy, and then Sting and Darby came out to help us. Which leads to the huge eight-man tag at Worlds End tomorrow, and Iâll be tagging with Sting for the first time ever.
âSting told me he would have my back. And he was a man of his word. And Iâve got a lot of respect for Sting too. Now before we can go to Worlds End, I need to figure out a few things with Sammy Guevara. So, Sammy, come on out and letâs discuss a few things in this ring now.â
Sammy Guevaraâs music hit, and he joined Jericho in the ring.
Excalibur wondered if time healed all wounds.
Jericho: âThey love you here tonight in Orlando. And Iâve always been a fan of yours. A few months ago, we had a great match on Dynamite, and instead of celebrating that match together, you turned on me and joined the Don Callis Family. I want to ask you man to man, why?â
Sammy: âChris, itâs hard being in your shadow man. Name any accolade, youâve done it all. And maybe somewhere along the line I started blaming you for why I wasnât where I needed to be. I felt like you were holding back but really, I was just holding myself back. Itâs time I stop blaming others and I become the man that I know I am.
âI was at home reflecting, and I know Iâm that man. I should have been the good friend that you were to me. So really, all I can offer you is, Iâm sorry.â
Jericho: âWell Sammy, I accept your apology and I want to say the same to you. Iâm sorry, too, and I want to tell you why. Maybe sometimes Iâm a little controlling, but Iâve always been one of your biggest fans. I brought you here to AEW. I had you in the Inner Circle, the JAS, and here right now. Iâve always believed in you, and I always will, okay? So let me ask you this: we have the eight-man tag at Worlds End, but after that, I still have a tag team opportunity for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. And I need a partner. So, I want to ask you, will you reunite with Chris Jericho and reunite Le Sex Gods?â
Sammy looked at Jericho and hugged him!
Jericho: âLe Sex Gods are back, baby!â
Renee Paquette was backstage with Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard!
Matt Menard: âHow about the biggest win of Garciaâs career last Saturday night, taken away by the House of Black!â
Garcia: âHouse of Black, Iâm absolutely sick of people like you thinking you can walk in here and walk all over people like us. Weâre not having it anymore. Weâre gonna fight back. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but weâre gonna get you back. I promise you that. Pay up.â
Ruby dodged a kick from Marina and then grabbed Marina by the hair, pulling her down to the mat. Marina fired back with vicious kicks. Harley grabbed at Marinaâs leg and Ruby tripped Marina, taking advantage of the distraction.

Backstage, the Don Callis Family, along with AEW World Tag Team Champions Big Bill and Absolute Ricky Starks had some choice words for Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Sting, and Darby Allin ahead of their match at Worlds End tomorrow!
Callis: âYour world ends tomorrow!â
Powerhouse Hobbs: âLook at this team. Tomorrow night the four of you find out why Iâm big, black, and jacked.â
Kyle Fletcher: âHell yeah, tomorrow night on pay-per-view, youâll find out why the Don Callis Family is the top of the food chain. Along with our new friends Big Bill and Ricky Starks.â
Big Bill: âTomorrow night, in my backyard, in front of my friends and family, us four are going to whoop all four of your asses.â
Ricky Starks: âCongratulations Chris Jericho. You found four other idiots. This is my retirement gift to you, Sting. You will not make it to Revolution after tomorrow night.â
Renee Paquette was backstage with Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale!
Renee said Willow asked for this time to address some of the rumors going around at the hands of Stokely Hathaway.
Willow: âHonestly, I just want to make sure you and I are cool, Kris. Heâs trying to say Iâm taking all the credit for the Street Fight. You yourself are an amazing wrestler. I was kinda thinking, Iâm from Long Island, youâre from Long Island, and weâve got Worlds End coming up in Long Island. Iâd really love to share the ring again.â
Stokely Hathaway interrupted!
Stokely: âShare the ring together? I think thatâs a great idea. But I have a question for you. What took you so long to save your so-called bestie on Dynamite? How about you two share the ring against each other one on one at Worlds End?â
Statlander: âIâd really like that, actually. I really respect you as a wrestler and as a friend, and so, Worlds End?â
Willow agreed to the match for tomorrow!

Danhausen walked onto the ramp after the match!
Danhausen: âYuta, it is Danhausen, the ROH legend myself, and I have decided to appoint myself the fourth judge. I noticed youâre wrestling my good friend and sometimes tag team partner Hook at Worlds End. Iâve been keeping a close eyeball on you. You cheated and therefore I have to disqualify you. You lost!â
Wheeler Yuta decked Danhausen! Yuta spiked Danhausen with a DDT. Yuta hammered Danhausen with elbows until FTW Champion Hook headed straight to the ring to even up the odds. Yuta bailed right away!

Samoa Joe: âI have come here tonight looking for answers. Not a long time ago I made a promise to MJF that I would keep him whole until Worldâs End when I would dismantle him myself. Last week I was made into a liar when I came out here to the machinations of a devil. I looked up at that screen and saw MJF laying in the back, potentially jeopardizing my AEW World Championship opportunity.
âNow one canât stand on the tracks of destiny and not get run over. So let me explain to you whatâs going to happen tonight. You see when I walked in the back last week with MJF laying on the ground, I saw a beer bottle, a certain beer brand, that a certain cowboy likes, busted over MJFâs head.
âAnd then as I got closer, I noticed a certain scent of Stetson and disappointment. And I said to myself, Iâve smelled this before. And then as I walked around the building, searching high and low for this cowboy, it seemed like a certain Hangman was missing.â
âHangmanâ Adam Pageâs music hit, and Page came down to the ring!
âWhat if someone is trying to frame âHangmanâ Adam Page? What if MJF is trying to frame Adam Page?â asked Excalibur.
âHangmanâ Adam Page: âJoe if thereâs something you want to accuse me of, why donât you just say it like the man I thought you were. If you think itâs me, if you think I have anything to do with it, if you think I give a damn about the Devil, youâd be so wrong, because I donât care.â
Samoa Joe: âHangman you may not care, but you see you made the mistake of thinking I came out here like a detective. Iâve already made up my mind. Iâm an executioner.â
Hangman Page: âWell Joe, if thereâs something you want to do about it, why donât you do it?â
Roderick Strong walked onto the ramp with the Kingdom, and he was screaming âSamoa! Samoa Joe, you are so lucky that they didnât hurt you last week. But I hate to say this, you gotta listen to Hangman. I mean he is my young boy and all. I never forgot about that.
âAnd listen, have you seen the things that have been happening, Joe? Jay White asked for a World title match, he gets attacked. The Acclaimed lose a tag match for Max and they get attacked. The goons attack Max on November 29th, but they donât lay a single shot on him, and you come to his aid.
âAnd then last week, we never saw them physically touch him. We just saw him lying there. Câmon, Joe, think! Itâs obviously Max. Max is the devil. Câmon, Joe, I wouldnât like to you. Iâm not talking to you Adam, Iâm talking to my best friend by proxy, Samoa Joe!â
Adam Page swung at Roderick Strong and knocked him to the mat!

Danhausen: âHey, youâre betraying us.â
Orange: âWhat? No, weâre in Texas. So, what do you guys say?â
Marshall and Ross Von Erich agreed, saying theyâd gladly have Orangeâs back!
Out next: The Golden JetsâKenny Omega & Chris Jericho!
Jericho: âDallas, welcome to the return of the Golden Jets! I think that was the first ever Golden Jets chant,â Jericho said with a smile.Â
Jericho: âThe reason why itâs been a while since weâve been here is because of Big Bill and Ricky Starks. They attacked me after Full Gear, pretty much dislocated my elbow, put me out for three weeks. Last week after Kennyâs great match with Ethan Page, Big Bill kicked Kenny in the face and put him down to the ground. I spent three weeks thinking of what I was going to say to Big Bill and Ricky Starks. Itâs pretty simple: Hey boys, get your sorry asses out here!â
AEW World Tag Team Champions âAbsoluteâ Ricky Starks and Big Bill walked onto the ramp!
Starks: âWow, did you miss me? Point proven, Chris. I find this whole situation to be funny. I have no problem with you Kenny. I want to thank you for this great place we have called AEW. And you, Chris, thereâs nothing to really thank, because you just suck the life out of every single thing. And it makes me question, you, though, Kenny, because do you really think you can trust a guy like Jericho? I mean, look at the Inner Circle. Look at JAS. Look at what heâs done to those people in the past.â
Big Bill: Kenny, look at the things that Chris has actually done to you. If Chris attacked you randomly on the drop of a dime, me, Ricky, nobody here, would actually be surprised. Just saying.â
Kenny Omega: âSo youâre basing this off of my trust between myself and Chris Jericho? Do I trust Chris Jericho? Chris, you know I donât trust you. Look, Big Bill, youâre talking about track records. Letâs take a look at something from your past, the Firm, for example. Everyone remember the Firm? I canât say that I do.
âI would say that that Firm angle you had with MJF is more like the flaccid, looking less firm and a little more up your alley, something say, I donât know, soft. But hey, when it comes to beatdowns, Iâm pretty much the king of receiving them. So hey, you guys think you can talk a big game, thatâs fine. Weâve earned ourselves a tag team title shot down the road, and guess what? On December 30th at Worldâs End, weâre thinking maybe the Golden Jets can maybe take those two titles off of your waist and place them firmly around ours. What do you say to that?â
Ricky Starks: âThatâs all well and good and we understand you two are the number one contenders and Iâm going to speak for both of us and say, hey, guess what, youâre on! But before we even get to Worldâs End, let me just remind you Chris, I hope you remember January. Because back in January, I actually beat you on Dynamite.â
Big Bill: âCorrection. You actually beat him twice. You beat him on a pay-per-view also.â
Starks: âSo as far as Iâm concerned, Iâve already done half of the work. I know you in and out and I know what youâre all about. We are the best tag team that there is because we are the AEW Tag Team Champions, without a name!â
Chris Jericho: âItâs funny, Starks, you keep bragging that you donât have a name. I think you need a name. How about this? The Absolute Sâts? I got it! How about we take his first name and then his last name, ladies and gentlemen, AEW World Tag Team Champions Big Billy Starks!â
Starks: âWell that one fell flat.â
Jericho: âKinda did.â
Starks: âI can excuse the name, but I cannot excuse the outfit where you went to a local Hot Topic and said, âHey, give me the best stuff that youâve got!ââ
Jericho: âListen, you said Iâm a clown vampire, believe me, if I was going to suck my fangs into somebody, Iâd do it with somebody with a lot more clout than you. Because from where Iâm standing, all I see is a better dressed, less charismatic version of Enzo Amore.â
Omega: âHey, letâs give Enzo credit. At least he would hype up Big Bill and not take all the spotlight.â
Starks: âWell I think you guys have taken the spotlight a little too far in my opinion, but regardless, I want you to know something. You talk about the way I dress. You talk about Big Bill. Chris Jericho, no one cares anymore. I am sick and tired of you. And Kenny, youâre starting to piss me off, brother. You want the war? Bring it! Worldâs End, me and Big Bill will take you two on, because we are the best damn tag team there is. Bar none! Nobody better! And if you think youâve got something better than me and Big Bill, prove it, you two Winnipeg scumbags!â
Omega: âWell, now that youâve brought out the big guns, I might need to sit and stew on that for a minute. So, much like those tag team belts on December 30th, I must bid you good-bye, bang!â
Jericho: âWeâll see you on December 30th Starks and Big Bill!â

AEW TNT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH…
âThe Patriachâ Christian Cage(c) vs. âRated R Superstarâ Adam Copeland
It has been more than thirteen years since the last time Christian Cage and Adam Copeland stood across the ring from one another waiting for the first bell to ring that signifies the start of their one-on-one clash. The site of that fight was the Air Canada Center in Toronto, and it came to a conclusion with an Adam Copeland victory, just as it had sixteen other times over their twenty-six singles bouts on record. Though the two men would find their way back to a partnership for a handful of matches in 2011, the neck injuries that should’ve ended Adam’s career, and actually kept him out of the ring for nine years, ended their tag team bond.
Despite Copeland grinding through a grueling recovery, struggling and fighting to get back into the ring in January 2020, the two life-long friends only stood in the ring during a match one more time prior to WRESTLEDREAM in Seattle, and somewhat ironically that was a one night only affair as Christian Cage was forced to step away from in-ring activity in 2014 due to his own medical concerns, and not resuming his in-ring career until that first match for AEW on March 31, 2021.
So in addition to the friendship that begun some 40 years ago, in addition to all the wars they’d fought together as friends, as partners, and even as foes, Adam and Christian were also bonded by the pain of nearly losing their dream as a result of their bodies betraying them. But so too were they bonded by overcoming all odds and fighting their way back to making that dream a reality when there was no rationale reason for either man to still be competing, much less doing so at the highest of levels they are still doing at this point in their careers.
And yet here they are, despite all that connective tissue, standing as far apart as they have ever been with an seemingly insurmountable gap between their desires for AEW. Copeland came here with the dream of standing side-by-side with his best friend and finishing out their careers showing the world why they’ve long been considered one of the best tag teams of their generation, why they were such a game-changing force in tag team wrestling, and just being able to enjoy everything they’d worked so hard to accomplish.
Christian, on the other hand, came to AEW to get as much distance as possible between he and Adam and to establish himself as far away from any notion of the team they used to be once upon a time. He came to be his own individual, and Copeland coming to AEW only served, in Cage’s mind, to cast that shadow over his accomplishments since REVOLUTION 2021, not that great deal of Christian’s accomplishments deserves accolades. He betrayed Jack Perry and Luchasaurus, then turned Luchasaurus on Perry and made the former World Tag Champion into his lapdog, and even though he helped lead Luchasaurus to the TNT Championship, he didn’t even the man to hold his own championship while simultaneously claiming himself as the true TNT Champion. Then, when the opportunity came, Cage robbed Luchasaurus of the TNT Championship to officially make it his own.
He turned Nick Wayne against Darby Allin, as well as his own mother, humiliated Luchasaurus, robbed him of his name, rechristened the man Killswitch as an homage to himself, and threatened to break the neck of his supposed best friend after Adam Copeland came to AEW with a hopeful reunion in his mind. Christian disrespected Copeland’s family, a family that Adam considered him a part of, and has sacrificed both Killswitch and âThe Prodigyâ Nick Wayne in order to save his own skin. The fact that Christian Cage is proud of those accomplishments goes to show just what kind of man he’s devolved into since his arrival in AEW, it just took Sting shaking some sense into him for Adam Copeland to realize just who his supposed best friend truly was at heart.
So now this Wednesday night in Montreal, they will fight, and Christian’s prized TNT Championship will be on the line! Interestingly enough, though Copeland leads Cage in victories in their one-on-one collisions, it is Cage who has a razor thin edge when titles at stake. Nineteen times on record they’ve fought one-on-one over a championship, ten of those have been won by Christian Cage, but the last four by Copeland, although it has been a dozen years since the last of those championship contests.
While these men may be more familiar with each other than anyone else in AEW could hope to be, neither is dealing with the same man with whom they captured seven tag team titles together. Each has been changed by their experiences, experiences that should’ve brought them closer together than ever, but instead have seen them driven further apart than ever before. If there was ever any hope for this friendship to find a place of healing, it will likely be dashed Wednesday night on DYNAMITE. Some bridges can’t be rebuilt after the fire, some sins are not forgivable…
AEW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH…
âTimelessâ Toni Storm(c) vs. Skye Blue
While âTimelessâ Toni Storm may still be basking in the glow of becoming a 3-Time AEW Women’s World Champion, apparently recovering from Hollywood parties and hobnobbing with stars, the rest of the division has had their eye on being the first challenger to her throne, and it looks like Storm will have to deal with a familiar foe for her first defense!
Skye Blue has been a consistent thorn in the side of Toni Storm since the beginning of 2023, and there’s not a woman in AEW the defending champion has faced more in one-on-one matches. Five times they have gone head-to-head inside the squared circle, two of those in championship matches, and all five have gone in favor of Toni Storm. Even the Four Way Title match at HOUSE RULES: HUNTSVILLE over the summer, a bout that also involved Anna Jay and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, came to an end with Storm pinning Sky. In fact, in the nine total fights these woman have been involved in, Toni holds a 7-2 lead on her challenger, with both of Skye’s victories coming in tag team bouts, though neither conclusion saw Skye pin Toni to get the victory.
The last fight between the two woman went down two months ago on DYNAMITE, and once again it was Skye who fell in defeat, but her transformation over the last several months may be the key to Skye finally claiming, not just a victory over Toni Storm, but also her first AEW Women’s World Championship! Will fans see another Storm/Blue sequel laid out by âThe Timeless Oneâ, or will Skye Blue rewrite the script for a whole new take on their franchise? Tune in Wednesday night to see who claims the crown as best lead in the AEW Women’s Division! And just announced as a special guest:
One is a man riding high with two consecutive victories and six points to his Continental Classic tally while the other is a man who has twice tasted defeated, meaning zero points on his record for this tournament. The former is Swerve Strickland, the latter Mark Briscoe, and this Wednesday night in Montreal, they will meet in their first-ever singles match and for just the second time in their careers!
That one previous clash between these two men took place a lifetime ago, and a continent away, when Shane Strickland teamed up with the late Ryan Smile at RevPro’s SUMMER SIZZLER 2017 event in a losing effort against Jay & Mark Briscoe. So much has changed for both these men in the six years since, especially for Mark as he forges forward into the world of singles wrestling after the tragic loss of brother Jay back on January 17th of this year.
Singles wrestling isn’t a foreign concept for Mark, after all he has been in the game for 23 years, years that including some hellacious singles matches against his own brother for one, but doing singles work exclusively, now that is uncharted territory for âThe Sussex County Chickenâ and perhaps why he is taking the losses as good as he can. Mark knows competing in this tournament isn’t the easiest path, that he’s faced with five of the best in the world in this Gold League, but that doesn’t mean he’ll back down or fold up shop. It’s motivation to get better, to keep pushing, and to continue fighting on for the Briscoe name.
Between Mox and Rush, Mark has already thrown down with two of the heaviest hitters in the Gold League, and now he’s got the red-hot Swerve on his plate who proved unquestionably with that Texas Death Match that he’s got the same grit as Mark’s previous two opponents. Getting those first three points out of this one is going to be a grind for Chicken, but that’s what he does and Swerve best not underestimate as he pursues nine points. After all, Mark is a cornered animal now, a loss here mathematically eliminates him from the competition, and you know what they say about cornered animals…
Jon Moxley (6) vs. Rush (3)
This one is going to hurt, and going to hurt both men involved even more than they are already hurting. We all heard it straight from Moxley himself in the interview embedded above, he is aching and sore and sick and tired, but sick and tired of being sick and tired but fighting is what he does, what he knows, and it’s Moxley’s way through the pain wracking his body.
Similarly, the AEW faithful witnessed Rush gut out a victory over Mark Briscoe last week despite clearly going through some intense leg pain throughout the contest. For a minute it seemed as if the doctor might stop the match, but âEl Toro Blancoâ fought to his feet, threw down with Mark, and found the way to his first three points in the Continental Classic.
Now these two hard-hitting forces will collide in a rematch of their AEW Interim World Title Match that took place at FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN 2022 on July 27th, as well as the Texas Tornado Tag from the 2/15/23 DYNAMITE that saw The BCC of Mox and Claudio defeat Rush and Preston Vance. Everyone knows the kind of fight these to men bring to the table, and how each seems to feed off getting hit by their foes, but as this tournament gets deeper, as their bodies break down further, and WORLDS END gets closer, will their strategies change? A win for Rush will tie him up with Mox at three points, one for the former 3-Time AEW World Champion could potentially put him at the top of the heap with nine depending on how Swerve’s fight plays out. Every win is crucial, but this week marks the halfway point, and no one can afford to take an âLâ…
Jay Lethal (0) vs. Jay White (3)
This is one part Continental Collision contest and one part rubber match as, over the course of their careers, Jay Lethal and Jay White each hold a singles victory over the other. For Lethal, his victory over the future âSwitchbladeâ came at ROH’s GLOBAL WARS 2017, NIGHT 2 event during Jay’s stateside excursion from the New Japan Dojo. There were other bouts involving the two, eight-mans and Three Way’s and Four Corner Survivals, even a trios bout in Korakuen Hall, but that October 13th fight in Pittsburgh was their lone singles until âKing Switchâ came calling five years later.
From December 2021 through April 2022, Jay White held what he called âThe U.S. of Jay Open Challenge Seriesâ during NJPW STRONG broadcasts, a five match series where he first battled Swerve, as well as Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, and âSpeedballâ Mike Bailey. In the second match of the series Jay Lethal answered the call, and on 2/19/22, fell before âSwitchbladeâ.
That bring us to this Wednesday night, the halfway point of the Continental Classic with two matches in the rear view mirror and two waiting down the road, but only one of these two men is on the scoreboard. With a shady victory over Rush, but a loss to Swerve, âSwitchbladeâ Jay White sits with three points while Lethal, following losses to Moxley and Swerve, has a zero beside his name.
So not only are these men fighting for the next three points, they are also fighting for dominance in their series of matches, and in the case of Jay Lethal, desperation to get on the board at all. Should Lethal lose again here, and if Moxley and/or Swerve win, well âThe Franchise of ROHâ will mathematically be eliminated from winning the bracket.
WHAT IS MJF THINKING…
AEW World & ROH World Tag Champion MJF and Samoa Joe
Given his physical condition, the face that he’s got to fight Samoa Joe at WORLDS END in twenty-four days, and that he’s still carrying the ROH World Tag Team Titles on behalf of himself and Adam Cole, is it wise for MJF to enter into a fight this Wednesday night on DYNAMITE, especially when he has no idea who whose foes actually are?
And what good is Samoa Joe’s promise to keep MJF intact for their fight on December 30th if the AEW World Champion isn’t taking care of himself? Perhaps that’s why Maxwell feels emboldened to take up this tag team fight against an unknown entity, perhaps he’s just lost the ability to use his common sense, whatever the case, this is certainly not the same MJF who spent most of his AEW career avoiding the fight as much as possible. After all, this is the guy who skated by with just six matches in 2019, two of those being Battle Royales, and may see more ring time this year than in the last two combined! Now MJF is running towards the fight, his physical health be damned, and it may fall on Samoa Joe to protect the man from himself if the former AEW World TV Champion hopes to actually see their scheduled World Title Fight in a few weeks.
If not underneath the guise of The Devil, will we all see who’s under the black masks this Wednesday night on DYNAMITE? Or will that be a mystery that continues to haunt Maxwell Jacob Friedman as struggles to keep the AEW World Champion in his grasp?
DYNAMITE comes to Montreal’s Bell Centrefor the very first time, and with it comes two massive championship fights, as well as the next three fights in the Gold League! We will see Swerve Strickland take on Mark Briscoe, Jon Moxley throw down with Rush, and Jay Lethal fight Jay White, plus âTimelessâ Toni Storm defends her AEW Women’s World Championship against Skye Blue! And in one of the most anticipated fights in All Elite Wrestling, TNT Champion Christian Cage will fig âThe Rated R Superstarâ Adam Copeland with his coveted title on the line!
The night begins at 8pm ET/7pm CT live on TBS, as well as at AEWPlus.com for international fans, so drop in on the official AEW YouTube channel for all the highlights from recent episodes of DYNAMITE, RAMPAGE, and COLLISION, as well as this week’s CONTROL CENTER!

The memories, that night, 45 minutes, draw, commercial free on TV. The big deal to me was I was in the ring with the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Thank you, Ric. He put me on the map. What a fitting place for me to end my career all these years later.â
Ric Flair: âTony, just like before, the words cannot be spoken to the volume and the emphasis of whatâs about to take place in Greensboro. Make no mistake. Sting made himself. Iâm 74 years old, Iâm lucky. Iâm working for Tony Khan. Iâm standing next to Sting. Iâm honored to be there at your side. This will be one for the ages. âRush is on the board!â said Excalibur.
AEW Womenâs World Champion âTimelessâ Toni Storm was backstage!
Storm: âIâm feeling very fatigued after the championship celebration. Iâll be fine for my match next week!â
AEW World Champion and one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions MJF came to the ring next!
MJF: âDecember 30th, Worldâs End, itâll be Samoa Joe against yours truly for the AEW World Championship. When it comes to Samoa Joe as a person, I donât like him. But professionally, I respect him. I respect what heâs done for this industry, and because he didnât come here to line his pockets, but because he believes in AEW.
âNow back in the early 2000s, I remember getting a poster in my mailbox for TNA Wrestling. I tuned in and I couldnât be happier. I saw the âSamoan Submission Machine.â He looked unconventional, and he didnât seem to care, and neither did we. Now unfortunately, later on in his career, his talents werenât fully recognized, and he was not afforded the opportunity to be a world champion in WWE. But what Joe did, for this sport, was bigger than that.
âSamoa Joe proved you donât have to be a massive, male model body builder to be a top guy in this sport. Samoa Joe broke the mold. He proved alternatives matter. And because of the roads he paved, it has allowed a man like me to stand in the ring in front of you today. Without a guy like Joe, there might not be an AEW. As much as it pains me to admit, thank you.
âIâm not too shabby myself, now am I? I managed to pave a road of my own. Iâve helped build a new alternative and Iâve helped build this place brick by brick. And I did that by defeating some of the biggest names in this industry. Guys like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, but of all the names I have had to face in this squared circle, the one name I look back on and say, not only was I lucky to be victorious, but I was also lucky to survive, thatâd be you, Joe. Samoa Joe you are a wrestling legend. But December 30th is not about your wrestling legacy. December 30th is about my mine!
âDecember 30th is about can Max outlast the final boss of this sport one more time. So now, Iâm going to make a promise. Iâm going to make a promise to everyone watching at home and everyone in this arena. Joe, on December 30th, I donât care if you beat me within an inch of my life, because I promise I am going to show the world it is not about the size of the dog in the fight, it is about the size of the fight in the dog! At Worldâs End, you are going to have to put me down!â
The arena went dark! Lights in the ring began to flicker. Men dressed all in black, their faces in black masks, with the devil logo on their backs, grabbed MJF and held him down. One of the men had a baseball bat and was about to use it on MJF!
Samoa Joeâs music hit! Samoa Joe sprinted to the ring and the men retreated!
A message on the screen read:
âIn the shadows, our game begins. Next week, MJF & Samoa JoeâŚwill you face the unknown in a tag match? Are you a hero, Max?â
MJF grabbed a microphone: âIâm so sick of your Scooby Doo BS! Let me explain something to you! I am not dealing with your crap when Iâve got Samoa Joe breathing down my back at Worldâs End. I am going to take out all of your men one by one. I am going to unmask you, you coward. And next week, you want a tag match? Youâre one!â
Samoa Joe tried to calm down MJF and was upset when MJF accepted the challenge for next week.

TNT Champion âThe Patriarchâ Christian Cage responded to Adam Copelandâs challenge for next weekâs Dynamite!
Christian Cage was flanked by AEW security in the ring.
Christian Cage: âWhat Iâd like to do right now is go ahead and invite the Rated R Superstar Adam Copeland to this ring right now. Adam, I know youâre back there. I just want to speak to you about a few things about what you said last week. If you donât mind making your presence felt, itâd be very much appreciated.
âAdam, I would like to speak to you in the ring, if you wouldnât mind. If the truck can hit his music, something. Maybe I should come back there and speak to him then.â
Adam Copelandâs music hit, and Copeland stormed to the ring!
Christian: âManagement wanted me to have this security. It wasnât my idea. We donât need security here tonight. So, Iâm going to ask you gentlemen to vacate the ring.
âLast week you challenged me to a match to the TNT Championship December 6th on Dynamite. Iâm here to tell you that weâre not going to make it to Montreal next week. Weâre not going to make it because Iâm sorry. Now look, I know what youâre thinking, that Iâm only sorry because Iâm on an island by myself. Last week you took out the Kill Switch. You took out the âProdigyâ Nick Wayne.
âI was so mad when you hit Kill Switch with two con-chair-tos, I ran out of my house and drove with the windows down. I just needed to think. It turned into a road trip of soul searching, digging down deep, trying to figure out how I became this guy who does and says such unsavory things. And then on that drive, it started to remind me of those times we borrowed my momâs car.
âWe didnât care where we went. We were broke. We were having the times of our lives on the road, and we were going to make it. And did we ever make it! We went on to become multiple times tag team champions. The greatest tag team that ever lived. We both became multi time World champions. Take the wrestling part of our relationship away and it runs even deeper.
âEveryone knows you grew up with a single mom, Adam. Everyone knows you didnât have a father figure. Yes, Iâm the patriarch of AEW, but I am your brother. You might not have had a father, but in turn, my father became your father. To this day, heâs still your biggest fan. Iâm just going to say, we werenât just two random guys that were thrown together. I love you, man. We are family.
âAnd listen to me, when your mom passed away a few years ago, that was the hardest time of your life. But sometime before she passed, she said, âWhat I wouldnât give to see you guys in that ring tagging one last time.â And on my drive, I thought, letâs do it for her, letâs go on this journey again. For your mom! Letâs do it for her, man.â
Adam Copeland turned around to contemplate what he just heard from Christian Cage. Christian charged at Copeland, trying to strike with a cheap shot. But Copeland saw it coming and kicked Christian with a low blow!
Adam Copeland: âNice try, dumb ass. Sit up when Iâm talking to you. Shine this belt up real nice, because next week, sheâs coming home with me! Oh, by the way, I almost forgot, go fâk yourself!â
Main Event Time!

The fans chanted âThis is awesome! This is awesome!â
Jay White chop blocked Swerveâs knee. Jay White nailed Swerve with a uranage. Jay White applied an arm bar. Swerve escaped and blasted Jay with a kill shot to Whiteâs arm. Jay White almost inadvertently collided with the ref. As the ref had his back turned, Jay White went for a low blow, but Swerve had it scouted! Swerve rocked White with a back breaker. Swerve hit the House Call on Jay White. Swerve connected with the Swerve Stomp, but Jay White kicked out at the two-count!
âYou have to be impressed with Jay Whiteâs resiliency here,â said Danielson.
Jay White shocked Swerve with the Blade Runner. Swerve was knocked out of the ring, perhaps a saving grace. Back in the ring, Jay chopped at Swerve, and Swerve fired back with his own shots. Jay White planted Swerve with a sleeper suplex! Swerve countered the Blade Runner, rolling up Jay White and pinned him!
âImpressive roll counter right there,â said Taz.
âCerebral wrestling from Swerve,â replied Excalibur.
âThat got him another three points to put him at six,â added Danielson.

Itâs Friday night and you know what that means! Friday nightâs alright for fighting!
To kick off the show Tony Schiavone was in the ring with TNT Champion Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne!
Christian Cage: âItâs lucky for you that tomorrow night at Full Gear, not only do you get to see Stingâs last match you Los Angeles, youâll get to see Stingâs last match ever. Iâm sick of people calling him an âicon.â Tomorrow night Sting, itâs all gonna be over.
âAnd whatâs interesting to me is whatâs going to happen to Darby Allin when he loses that mentor of his. Hey Darby, if you ever find yourself in need of some fatherly guidance, you know who to turn to. And Ric Flair, I know youâll be ringside tomorrow, but if you stick your nose in our business tomorrow, itâll be your literal come to Jesus moment.
âAdam Copeland, if you havenât already, after Full Gear tomorrow youâre going to regret signing that contract with AEW. You came here to try to steal my spotlight. Hereâs the thing, Adam, I am not the same person I was back when. I am Christian Cage, the patriarch of AEW. While you were the golden boy, I was in the trenches, clawing and scratching for every inch. And Beth, keep the girls up late and keep them close to the TV, because Adam Iâm going to guarantee you that I will break your neck.
âAs the TNT Champion, the powers-that-be want me on the program every second I can. So, Iâll be in action tonight in the four-way. After the four-way tonight, Iâm going to keep running things here in AEW. I donât work within the system. I am the system.â
Lexy Nair was backstage with the AEW World Tag Team Champions Big Bill and âAbsoluteâ Ricky Starks!
Big Bill: âRicky or myself do not have to be pinned or submitted tomorrow to lose the tag team titles. So, Ricky went and spoke with Tony Khan.â
Ricky Starks: âTony is a fair man and he allowed me to pick a stipulation in our favor. I am selecting a ladder match. Thatâs right, a very short climb for Big Bill here. Tomorrow at Full Gear, when we walk out of L.A., weâre walking out as champions, weâre walking out in style, and most importantly, weâre walking out at the greatest tag team champions youâve ever seen.â
âThe Redeemerâ Miro vs. Daniel Garcia!

âAnd when Chris called, Iâm sure Paul said, âAnything you need my friend.â Paul, Iâm thinking you got shortchanged in the brain department because only an idiot would face the Don Callis Family after what weâve done to Omega, Jericho and Ibushi. But Paul, itâs not too late. Paul, we both know Jericho is going to try to use you like he tried to use me.
âPaul, Iâm a big fan of your work. Itâs not too late to pull the pin and leave Jericho hanging in the street fight. I see a scared giant. Itâs okay to be scared of me because I run things up in here. Tony Schiavone was in the ring soDon Callis and Konosuke Takeshita could reveal their next target!
Callis: âWe just beat Kenny Omega twice in one week. Show some respect! Weâve been celebrating. Iâve learned a lot from Takeshita about Japanese culture. When youâre the top wrestler in a promotion, they call you the Ace. Heâs better than Okada. Better than Inoki. When you beat Kenny Omega once, they call you the Ace. When you beat Omega twice in seven days, they call you the Alpha!
âHenceforth you will all refer to Takeshita as the Alpha. I never had the empathy thing. Because when youâre the Alpha, you donât feel anything, you take. Kenny, beating you twice isnât enough for us. We broke your body. Now weâre going to break your heart.
âI promise to reveal through our creation who the next target of the Alpha will be, and Kenny, this one is going to kill you. The next target is none other than the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kota Ibushi!
âAnd Kenny, I want you to know right now, weâre not just going to beat Ibushi, weâre going to butcher him. Weâre going to burn him. And Iâm going to love the fact that while weâre spilling his blood in the ring, youâre going to be at home helpless, watching like the pathetic cuck that you are.â

Saraya: âCongrats, Toni, you did it and you did it without us. But Toni lost everything to me. She lost her top spot, and she lost her mind. Sheâs crazy. But sheâs also going to lose the match against me at Grand Slam and then sheâll be left with nothing!â

âThat was beautiful,â said Taz.
Sammy: âChris, I have a confession. I still donât know the lyrics to âJudas.ââ
Jericho: âI saw a kid on one of the NWA pay-per-view prelim matches and I was blown away and told Tony Khan, we need to sign this kid Sammy. I knew he had what it took to be a big star and I wanted him to be with me so I could help him out as much as I possibly could.
âOver the years Iâve watched Sammy grow from a boy to a man. Iâve seen him win titles, get married, and now your wife is ready to give birth to a baby girl. Iâm really proud of all youâve accomplished over the past four years.â
Sammy: âI know the typical wrestling thing is to talk trash, but I donât want to do that. I want to come out here before one of the biggest matches of my career and say thank you. Thank you for changing my life and for changing the lives of so many people in the back. Without Chris Jericho there is no AEW.
âBut truthfully Chris, I didnât come to this company to just be your sidekick. I want to become world champion. I want them to look at me the way they look at Mox or the way they look at you. I donât want to be in your shadow, so thatâs why I need to beat you next week.â
Jericho: âYou were never brought in to be Chris Jerichoâs side kick. You were brought in to be a main event player and you are getting closer and closer every week. And thatâs why I told you that you have to do it on your own. Next week you have that opportunity. You have to beat me to get to the next level. But if youâre going to beat Chris Jericho, youâre going to have to be the best Sammy Guevara ever if youâre going to have a chance to beat me. But I donât think youâre ready to beat me yet.â
Sammy: âAnd there it is. Itâs whatever Jericho wants. So next week Iâm going to beat you as this man, not the 2018 me at the NWA pay-per-view, but this Sammy is going to beat you, weâre going to shake hands, and weâre going to win some tag team titles.â
Jericho: âLet me make something perfectly clear, Sammy. Next week Iâm going to give you the match of your life. And Iâm not going to go easy on you. Iâm going to beat the living hell out of you. And I expect the exact same thing from you.â
Sammy: âI wouldnât want it any other way.â
Excalibur: âI think we might have a battle for the ages next week.â
Taz: âSammy is a pro, and he knows whatâs at stake.â
Clips were shown from after Dynamite last week with Renee Paquette interviewing MJF!

âHell of a match by these two men,â said Taz.
âIf Swerve was mad before, he has to be pissed off now,â added Excalibur.
âWell, he poked the bear,â added Taz.
Hangman Page: âWhat passion, what drive, just oozing out of your body as you brood on top of the ramp as you watched me kick Cageâs ass. Last week you said you wanted my spot, but you sent Cage out. Last week I thought you had some balls but tonight Iâm pretty sure youâre just keeping them stowed away in Prince Nanaâs Burger King crown.â
Swerve: âWhat up, turd? Them sound like fighting words to me, Hangman. You think thisâll be solved tonight? We do this when I say, where I say. And it just so happens I chose the great state that birthed Swerve Strickland. October 1st, in the City of Seatle, WrestleDream. Me and you, Hangman. Christian Cage: âVery impressive victory. Nick Wayne, after I went home last week, I was scrolling through your momâs Instagram account. Your mom doesnât post enough bikini pics. But donât worry. I sent her a special request on the side.
âThereâs still a lot of talk about Darby and Stingâs win in London, and as the Franchise here, itâs embarrassing. Now I just want to remind everyone I did not take the loss for that match, and I didnât have my regular partner with me. So, I propose next week, Darby Allin and Sting against me and Luchasaurus.
