The lineup blends fan-favorite veterans, early outs hungry for redemption, pageant legends, comedy queens, and newer breakout stars from recent seasons.
Tournament of All Stars Returns
Season 11 revives the high-stakes Tournament of All Stars format. The queens will be divided into three groups of six, with each bracket competing across three episodes.
At the end of each bracket, the top two queens with the highest point totals advance to the semi-finals, where they’ll battle the best from the other groups. The season will culminate in a Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown grand finale, with $200,000 and a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame at stake.
That structure adds urgency from the opening episode, rewarding consistency rather than relying solely on late-season momentum.
Untucked Also Returns
Fans wanting the backstage drama won’t be left out. New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked will stream exclusively on Paramount+ beginning May 8.
As always, Untucked is where alliances shift, emotions rise, and some of the season’s most memorable moments are often born.
A Strong Mix of Representation and Drag Styles
One of the strengths of this cast is its range. Season 11 features queens representing pageant drag, avant-garde artistry, comedy, club performance, ballroom influence, Latinx excellence, Southern glamour, trans representation, and multi-generational drag excellence.
That diversity is part of why Drag Race remains culturally relevant—it showcases drag as a broad art form rather than a single lane.
Queens like Aura Mayari and Salina EsTitties continue Filipino and Latina visibility within the franchise, while icons like Vivacious and Morgan McMichaels bring deep roots from legendary drag scenes.
Early Favorites to Watch
Several names immediately jump out as contenders:
Kennedy Davenport brings elite performance skills and unfinished business.
Crystal Methyd remains one of the most beloved finalists in franchise history.
Silky Nutmeg Ganache is always must-watch television.
Morphine Love Dion enters with strong momentum after Season 16.
Sam Star and Lucky Starzzz represent dangerous newer-era competitors.
Of course, Drag Race thrives on surprises, so expect underdogs to emerge quickly.
Why This Season Matters
After years on air, All Stars succeeds when it balances nostalgia with fresh stakes. Season 11 appears built to do exactly that. The tournament format creates structure, while the massive cast gives viewers multiple storylines from day one.
For longtime fans, it’s another celebration of drag excellence. For newer audiences, it’s a perfect jumping-on point with queens from across eras.
