Ring of Honor is saddened to learn that longtime pro wrestler Tracy Smothers has died. He was 60. Smothers’ career spanned four decades and included stints in WWE, WCW, ECW and numerous regional and independent promotions. He held a number of regional championships and was a co-holder of the WCW United States Tag Team Title and ECW Tag Team Title. Smothers also had a reputation for always making himself available to young wrestlers who were eager to tap into his vast knowledge.
ROH extends its deepest condolences to Smothers’ family, friends and fans.
