Last Thursday night we witnessed “Under Pressure” and the 2 hour broadcast of IMPACT Wrestling featured Pay Per View quality matches! It was night that saw the end of some rivalries and the start of some new ones. We also saw two Championships change hands on an amazing show!
How about former Tag Team Champions going one on one in Eli Drake and Scott Steiner.
In a match to determine a new Number 1 Contender for the X-Division Championship, we witnessed Brian Cage vs. Dezmond Xavier. In a very competitive match, it came down to Brian Cage using his power to defeat Xavier and now Brian Cage has a date with Matt Sydal for the X-Division Championship.
We witnessed two Knockouts matches! In the first Tessa Blanchard went one on one with Madison Rayne. In the end, Madison Rayne was able to secure the victory in what many people are calling an upset.
The other Knockouts Match was for the Knockouts Championship and it was a “Last Rites” Match. In this match the only way to win is to put your opponent in a coffin and close the lid shut! Su Yung got the best of Allie and now Su Yung is the brand new Knockouts Champion!
In the Main Event Austin Aries challenged Pentagon Jr. for the World Championship and in an overtime, Aries delivered a low blow to Pentagon Jr. and stole the World Championship. Aries in now a 3x World Champion!
