Two weeks ago, the WWE Universe was stunned when Mike Kanellis attacked Lince Dorado during The Golden Lynx’s battle with Lio Rush. Although The Man of the Hour escaped unscathed, Kanellis unloaded on the luchador, much to the delight of his wife, Maria. After the attack, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick expressed his discontent with Kanellis, explaining that the incident was not how they agreed Mike would make his debut.
Regardless of what Maverick wanted, Kanellis certainly made waves. When the couple addressed the attack last week, Kanellis regarded the attack as just “business,” and Maria referred to her husband as “the opportunist” by taking advantage of his invitation to join the Cruiserweight division. The self-proclaimed Power Couple of WWE 205 Live made their WWE Cruiserweight Championship ambitions clear, but first Kanellis has to face Lince Dorado tonight!
