Dem Boys are champions once again.
Jay and Mark Briscoe took a brief detour on their quest to win their 12th ROH World Tag Team Title by invading Game Changer Wrestling and capturing the company’s tag team championship.
The Briscoes defeated Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner and Matthew Justice) for the belts in a wild, bloody brawl that included the use of tables and chairs as weapons at GCW’s War Ready in Los Angeles on Oct. 23
The match came about after the Briscoes made a surprise appearance at a GCW event on Oct. 9 in Atlantic City, N.J., and issued the challenge after SGC said there weren’t any teams in pro wrestling that could beat them.
The Briscoes also defeated the talented duo of Alex Zayne and Taylor Rust earlier last month on ROH television.
The Briscoes, who are currently ranked No. 4 in ROH’s tag team division, are 6-1 since putting their differences aside and focusing on becoming ROH World Tag Team Champions again.
