No. 1 Contender’s Match: La Facción Ingobernable’s Dragon Lee & Kenny King (w/Amy Rose) vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe
(20-minute time limit)

The winner of this match faces ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham for the title in a Pure Rules Match on next week’s show. Lee and King isolated Mark Briscoe to gain the early advantage. Jay Briscoe blind-tagged himself in, and he and Mark double-teamed King. Later, outside the ring, Mark Briscoe rammed King into the barricade. Jay Briscoe slammed King on the floor and Mark followed with a flying elbow off the apron. Mark Briscoe suplexed King onto the edge of the apron.

Back inside the ring, Jay Briscoe hit a Death Valley Driver on Lee, and Mark followed with Iconoclasm for a near fall. Lee hit a double stomp off the top rope onto Jay Briscoe, who was hanging upside down in the corner, and then took out Mark on the floor with a flip dive over the top rope. Lee hit another double stomp off the top rope on Jay Briscoe for a near fall. King hit a t-bone suplex into a bridge on Jay for a two count. King applied a leglock submission hold on Jay Briscoe, but Mark hit Froggy Bow on King to make the save.

Lee went for a hurricanrana over the top rope onto Mark Briscoe, who was on the apron, but Mark blocked it and Lee crashed to the floor. Jay Briscoe hit a neckbreaker on King. Mark Briscoe went to the top rope to prepare for a double-team move, but Rose distracted the referee. As she did so, “The Mercenary” Flip Gordon appeared out of nowhere and knocked Mark Briscoe off the top rope with Kinder Surprise. King rolled up Jay Briscoe for the win.

EC3 delivers a message to Jay Briscoe

Grudge Match: The Righteous’ Bateman (w/Vita VonStarr) vs. The OGK’s Mike Bennett
(20-minute time limit)

Bennett, seeking revenge for Bateman and Vincent injuring his ankle at Final Battle in December, speared Bateman as the opening bell sounded. Bennett stayed on the attack, and Bateman rolled out of the ring. Bennett followed and continued to assault him. After Benett briefly turned his attention to VonStarr, who was jawing at him, Bennett charged at Bateman, but Bateman moved and Bennett crashed into the barricade.

Bateman punished Benentt on the floor. With Bennett partially underneath the ring, Bateman sling-shotted him throat-first into the bottom of the ring. Back inside the ring, Bateman hit a combination body slam/brainbuster for a near fall. Bennett answered with a spear and piledriver for the victory.

After the match, Matt Taven hit the ring and attacked Bateman. Taven and Bennett got a wood block and placed it between Bateman’s ankles. Taven grabbed a steel chair and vowed to injure Bateman’s ankle in the same manner in which Bateman and Vincent injured Bennett unless Vincent agreed to face him in a match.

Vincent appeared on the video screen and said he would not give Taven what he wants. Taven smashed the chair on Bateman’s ankle.

ROH World Champion RUSH defends the title against Shane Taylor next week

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title Match: Champions MexiSquad (Bandido, Rey Horus & Flamita) vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Soldiers of Savagery)
(45-minute time limit)

All six men immediately began brawling at the start of the match. After several minutes of back and forth action, Taylor used his size and strength advantage over Horus to put STP in control, but MexiSquad rallied. Horus hit a springboard tornado DDT on Moses. Flamita stepped onto Bandido’s shoulders and hit a hurricanrana on Taylor. With all three members of STP on the floor, each member of MexiSquad hit a dive onto them. Then as Flamita and Horus hit stereo flip dives over the top rope onto SOS, Bandido landed a moonsault onto Taylor on the floor.

Back inside the ring, Flamita hit a 450 splash on Taylor, but Moses made the save. MexiSquad triple-teamed Kaun. Bandido launched Flamita for a pop-up splash on Kaun, but Moses again made a save. Moses hit a cannonball off the apron to take out Bandido and Horus on the floor. Taylor planted Flamita with Welcome to the Land to win the match and the belts.
