Fans gathered at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre on June 2 for The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only – LIVE, a special event presented by AMC and AMC+ celebrating the upcoming premiere of The Vampire Lestat, the next chapter in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe.

The sold-out event featured an advance screening of the series premiere ahead of its June 7 debut, followed by an electrifying live concert performance from Sam Reid, who reprises his role as the legendary vampire Lestat de Lioncourt. Embracing his transformation into the world’s first immortal rock star, Reid performed original music from the series composed by Daniel Hart, giving fans an unforgettable preview of the show’s bold new direction.

Series stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, Jennifer Ehle, Noah Reid, and more were in attendance alongside creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones, executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch, and composer Daniel Hart.

Throughout the evening, fans celebrated the arrival of The Vampire Lestat, which shifts the spotlight squarely onto Lestat as he embarks on a globe-spanning rock tour while confronting ghosts from his past and navigating the consequences of his growing influence over both vampires and humans. As his fame rises, so does the threat posed by the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population that could reshape the world forever.

The night reached its climax as Reid took the stage as Lestat, performing several songs from the series, including fan favorites such as “Long Face,” “Butterscotch Bitch,” “All Fall Down,” and a cover of Billy Idol’s “Dancing with Myself.” Following the concert, the celebration continued with an exclusive after-party at Sony Hall.
